We’ve another busy month ahead and this week alone has lots on.
Wednesday 11th we have our monthly Breakfast at the Outset gathering. This month it is being hosted by Pamela Cunlife of R & D Tax Refunds who will discuss tax in relation to Research & Development. And before you think that might not be or you, think again, come along an hear why it is and how you can get money back (plus grab a free brew, a croissant and network!). https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/93313754953
Wednesday also sees our monthly Charity cake and bake sale. This month our chosen charity is The Princes Trust, who are based in our building.
It runs all day – or rather until the cake lasts! So grab a brew and slice of cake and make a donation. Our generous building owners Equinox Properties will double up all of the money that you donate.
Last month over £50 was raised for RISE.
Our cakes are hand baked by the way, and donated by Mitch Poole of Forty Communications. For those who don’t know Mitch is an award-winning baker and qualified for Great British Bake Off back in 2016.
Thursday we have The Botanist coming to treat us to a pop up bar with Mocktails & Sweet Treats now that they have opened down the road from us!
We are looking for a charity who would like to receive the proceeds of our charity bake in May. If you have a favourite charity please nominate them!
Our co-working space hosts all sorts of interesting businesses (and our networking events offer a chance to meet them). And don’t forget as tenants you can use the space if you need/want to work away from your normal desk. Also spread the word – Tuesday afternoons offer a chance for people to trial the co-working space for free.
We’ve lots planned and coming up. Book now for Stephen Craven from Clicks to Customers who will host next months Breakfast at the Outset on 8 April. Stephen will expertly guide us through The Three Steps to Predictable Success Using Social Media.
This Summer will also see the start of our Calmer at the Outset wellbeing programme with yoga and mindfulness along with a summer soiree for tenants!
Thanks as always
